A Rhythmic Affair | Thanks for participating!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Shakespearepalouza; A Rhythmic Affair.

The Malice Authors hopes everyone had a good time, but to those who missed it, here's some highlights of the event.

April is the National Poetry Month. It is one of the largest literary celebrations in the world with publishers, libraries, booksellers and poets celebrating poetry's place in our culture.

The Malice Authors hosted an event to celebrate National Poetry Month on Sunday 26th April. There were games, discussions, a special guest and giveaways.

Our special guest, Leisa Rayven, is the author of Bad Romeo and Broken Juliet, which is a fresh take on the Romeo and Juliet. In the event, Leisa talked about how she wanted to take a realistic approach to the story, and she certainly made it one unforgettable tale.

'In the words of Shakespeare, "The course of true love never did run smooth." Next to that quote, they should put a picture of Cassie and Ethan.'

Also in the event, there were fun games, such as these.

'These violent delights have violent ends. And in their triump die, like fire and powder. Which, as they kiss, consume.'

Who would you risk it all for?

And some beautiful quotes throughout the day.

"Be not afriad of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them."

-William Shakespeare, Twelfth Night.
