Myer-Briggs Writing Types

Weeks ago we posted a fun blog post about how astrology signs can affect your writing. Many of you found this entertaining and we decided, why not take it a little further? Our personalities have a great deal to do with our writing styles and to prove it, we’re going to show you our Myer-Briggs Personality Types (MBT) and how they influence us as writers.

Lana Sky and Nicolette Andrews are both INFJs, which translates to Introverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, and Judging.

Imogen Isles and Katrina Crane are both INFPs, which translates to Introverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, and Perceiving.

The differences between the two are minor, but the main areas in which we differ include:

• Time management and deadlines

• Decision making

• Plotting and story organization

There are 16 different MBTs and they are: INTJ, INTP, ENTJ, ENTP, INFJ, INFP, ENFJ, ENFP, ISTJ, ISFJ, ESTJ, ESFJ, ISTP, ISFP, ESTP, and ESFP. In order to find out what MB type you are go to https://www.16personalities.com/

All sixteen MB types can write clearly and well. But as is common with learning styles, each type has their unique approach to writing. The table below shows the writing approaches typically preferred by people of each MBTI preference.
